Good Son of the Village

RENHE, China—Zhao Songlin, 34, is the veterinarian of Renhe village and has been the community facilitator of the Heifer project here for four years. He coordinates all the project activities, including Cornerstone trainings and Passing on the Gift ceremonies like th one upcoming in April. When talking about Zhao, villagers praise him with thumbs up: “We love Zhao. He is the good son of our village!”

When the project in Renhe finishes up, Zhao has been recruited as the community facilitator for a new project. He said that Heifer hasoffered him a platform on which he can make a contribution to his hometown.
